Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is soliciting bids for the installation and configuration of electric vehicle charging infrastructure at its Administrative Office and the Bear Creek North Parking Area in Los Altos, California. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of existing chargers, pedestals, and conduit at the Administrative Office, as well as the installation of new dual head chargers with pedestals, load management controllers, and ADA-compliant accessible stalls featuring required signage and van-accessible clearances. Additional site improvements include pavement striping, stenciling, and the installation of wheel stops. The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest responsive bid. Applicants must possess the required California contractor licenses and provide a bid security equal to ten percent of the maximum bid amount. Bidders are required to submit a signed Bidder's Questionnaire and comply with prevailing wage requirements and the California Air Resources Board's Off-Road Regulation. Final project acceptance is contingent upon a successful final inspection, the completion of a punch list, and formal action by the District's Board of Directors. All work must adhere to the latest local building codes and District standard specifications.
