SCOPE OF WORKWork to be completed under this contract involves the replacement of Electrical Motor Control Centers MCC #9 located in H246 (Mechanical room).The replacement must be performed as per the specifications documents and drawings provided.The contractor must provide for all the required materials, equipment before/during/after installation and labour for installation, and manage the project requirements following the National Electrical Code.Project progress meetings are required at regular intervals with the owner, consultant, and the contractor, the specifics intervals will be determined in more detail at the “start-up” meeting.Instruction and training to be given to Departmental Representative and Operating PersonnelFurther project details are contained in the project plans and specifications.MANDATORY SITE VISITThere will be a site visit on January 11, 2023 at 10:30am EST. Interested bidders are to meet at the Canada Centre for Inland Waters, 867 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario.The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.
