*****Amendment #1*****Please be advised that this Invitation to Tender has been amended to answer the following potential bidder (s) question:Q1: Is "deliver the goods on or before August 12, 2026" correct? With a closing date of June 8th, that only allows for about 9 weeks to issue contracts, go through approval process, release the order, have material shipped and land on site. Typical lead time for this type of equipment is usually about 17 weeks after release, so adding time for contracts to be issued, approval process, and shipping time, the delivery date could possibly be in November.A1: We are aware that lead times may result in a delay past the estimated delivery date. When completing the bid submission, state the time required in the "Delivery Promised" box. This time will be used when creating the award for the successful low bidder.Q2: Will it be allowable for the new Service Entrance Board to be larger than shown on floorplan, a width of about 2,134mm? It looks like this would put part of it in front of the incoming section of the switchgear to be removed, but we wonder if that will be allowed since the new 600V Distribution Section will also be in front of the existing switchgear. A2: Yes, the new service entrance board can be larger than showing on the floor plant, we estimated 2500mm for the entire entrance board. As noted on drawing E2.1, the existing substation is to be completely removed. It was shown on E2.2 strictly for coordination purposes with the new equipment, as we have indicated splice boxes to help facilitate the transition from the existing substation to the new distribution boards. All other information remains the same***SCOPEThis Invitation to Tender (ITT) is for the supply, delivery and offloading of an electrical panel for a new electrical service on behalf of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.SPECIFICATIONSPlease see the attached documents and reference drawing.SUBMITTALSBidders should submit shop drawings as per Part I - Section 1.2 in the attached specifications with their bid submission.CONTRACT AWARD CRITERIACompliant bids will be evaluated and awarded based upon the lowest compliant total price bid and approval of shop drawings that meet the specifications listed within this document.HOW TO SUBMIT PRICINGBidders are invited to submit their UNIT PRICE--the price for a single product within the Tender Item--under the 'Unit Price Including Discount' column.
