The 409th Contracting Support Brigade intends to issue a solicitation for Electrical Power Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services at Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. This requirement supports the continuous, safe, and reliable operation of the installation’s high‑voltage (HV) and medium‑voltage (MV) electrical distribution network.


Camp Bondsteel relies on a complex electrical grid that includes transformers, switchgear, substations, underground and overhead cabling, utility poles, SCADA‑connected systems, protective devices, control systems, inverters, manholes, busbars, and associated monitoring and safety infrastructure. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, vehicles, and transportation necessary to operate, maintain, inspect, repair, and sustain this system.


The forthcoming solicitation will require the contractor to perform:


  • Full O&M of HV/MV systems Operation of all electrical distribution assets in accordance with OEM instructions and recognized industry standards.

  • Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Scheduled inspections, thermal imaging, electrical testing, cleaning, lubrication, and OEM‑recommended component replacements to reduce failures and increase system reliability.
