Electrical Services

The City of Yuma is soliciting bids for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for as-needed electrical services, including the repair and installation of power distribution equipment, lighting, emergency power, and related infrastructure. All work must be performed by qualified electricians under an Arizona ROC C-11 or CR-11 license and must comply with NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart S, UL standards, and NETA specifications. The contractor is required to provide a two-hour emergency response for after-hours, weekend, or holiday calls and must maintain sufficient backup equipment to ensure uninterrupted service. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the Total Evaluated Price across three project scenarios. Bidders must provide firm, fixed pricing for the first 12 months of the contract, with the City holding an option to extend the agreement for up to six months at the same rates. Billing is structured on a time-and-materials basis, utilizing specific bid tables for labor rates and material markups. Comprehensive insurance requirements are mandatory, including Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, and Worker's Compensation, with the City and its employees named as additional insured.
