Electrical Upgrades for Portable Buildings

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s United States Border Patrol is seeking electrical upgrades at the Ajo Border Patrol Station to provide power to portable buildings on the compound. The work will include electrical wiring and the installation of circuit breakers and is being procured under a firm-fixed-price contract. The project is expected to be completed within 30 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The procurement will be conducted as a total small business set-aside under the NAICS code 238210 for Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a small business size standard of $16.5 million. The estimated contract value ranges between $100,000 and $250,000. A Request for Quotations (RFQ) was scheduled to be issued around September 13, 2019, and award anticipated around September 27, 2019. Quotes will be evaluated using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable method, ensuring small businesses meeting minimum technical requirements have the opportunity to compete. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award, with registration strongly encouraged for those not yet registered.
