This NPP amendment 002 is issue to extend the bid closing date of the bid solicitation from November 29th, 2022, to December 8th, 2022.
Title : Electronic Personal Dosimeters
Description:
Health Canada, National Dosimetry Services Division (NDSD) has a requirement for the supply of up to 700 Electronic Personal Dosimeters (EPD). NDSD also supplies EPDs to select clients for operational use at their facilities.
The initial requirement is for the delivery of : i) 350 gamma EPDs (calibrated); ii) 10 EPD readers (communications interfaces) with software and licenses; iii) All necessary cables, components, and accessories for operation; iv) Documentation, including calibration certificates for the EPDs; and v) A one-year warranty including all Maintenance and Support Services.
The requirement also includes the option to purchase up to 350 additional units between contract award and March 31, 2026, on an as and when requested basis. The EPDs must meet all of the mandatory technical requirements described in Annex - A. All the initial deliverables must be received on or before March 31, 2023.
Bids will be assessed against the requirements of the solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The selection will be based on the highest responsive combined rating of technical merit and price. The ratio will be 40% for the technical merit and 60% for the price. The responsive bid with the highest combined rating of technical merit and price will be recommended for award of a contract.
Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the request for proposals process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for proposals process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
This PSPC office provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
