Ellis Wildlife Habitat Management Area Fencing Project

The Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Section, on behalf of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, (Procuring Agency) will receive bids until 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on April 21, 2025 through the Public Purchase online bidding system for the Ellis Wildlife Habitat Management (WHMA) Fencing Project, located approximately 43 miles from the town of Ten Sleep, WY. Project Description: This project will consist of removing the existing woven wire fence and replacing with four strand, wildlife friendly fence at the Ellis WHMA located approximately 43 miles from the town of Ten Sleep, WY. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. MT on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 starting at 700 Valley View Drive, Sheridan, WY 82801. Only bids submitted through the Public Purchase site and on State of Wyoming forms will be considered. It is the bidder’s responsibility to review, through Public Purchase at https://www.publicpurchase.com/gems/wyoconstruction,wy/buyer/public/home for answers to questions, addenda, or bid tabulations. Telephone calls, emails, or faxes may not be accepted. Bidding questions shall be submitted on the Public Purchase website by 1:00 p.m. MT on April 7, 2025. All questions will be answered and provided to all prospective bidders via answers on the Public Purchase website or in the form of a written addendum posted on Public Purchase by 1:00 p.m. MT on April 14, 2025. Questions received after 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on April 7, 2025, will not be addressed. It is the Contractor's responsibility (not required) to add their company to the Plan Holders and Contractors List. If a bid is greater than $150,000 , each bid is required to have a bid deposit in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the total bid, which shall be in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check (a copy of a check will not be accepted) drawn on a reliable bank and made payable to the State of Wyoming (no personal checks will be accepted), or an electronic bid bond with Surety 2000. ONLY if you are submitting an original 10% bid bond or submitting a 10% cashier check, it MUST be received in the Procurement Office at: Wyoming State Construction Department, Procurement Office, 700 West 21st Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82002, by 1:00 p.m. April 21, 2025.
