Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online until 11:00 AM prevailing time, on the 22nd day of August, 2025 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Hard copies of all documents may be optionally purchased through PennBid, estimated cost is $100.00. Project drawings and documents are available for inspection at the Public Works Department in Upper Darby Township at 100 Garrett Rd., Upper Darby, PA 19082. EMERGENCY COLLENBROOK CREEK GABION WALL REPAIR UPPER DARBY TOWNSHIP, DELAWARE COUNTY This project includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and equipment for the removal of existing gabion basket wall and construction of a new gabion wall. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Upper Darby Township in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed, to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be accepted and the bond shall state the same. All bidders submitting a bid greater than or equal to $100,000 are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility, in accordance with the Upper Darby Township Responsible Contractors Ordinance (RCO).
