AI Contract Overview
The contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) agreement for the procurement of asphalt emulsion and seal coat products to be used at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska. The contract, managed by the 773rd Civil Engineer Squadron (CES), aims to facilitate streamlined acquisition of these products for facility and roadway projects over a five-year ordering period, from May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2031. It includes a brand name requirement for GSB-78 and GSB-88 emulsions, which require specialized handling because they are mixed and stored in specialized containers and must be used immediately.
