The Contractor shall provide the following Services: Terrestrial field assessments including wildlife, wildlife habitat, wildlife habitat features and flora. Fish sampling and fish habitat assessments (including the determination of low, medium, or high value fish habitat). Identification and reporting of fish barriers to passage. Services and all required sampling and data collection devices related to the classification of stream, wetlands, and lakes using currently established and accepted methodologies (i.e.) Electro shocking equipment, GPS, etc. Produce Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP’s) for construction work around fish bearing, and non-fish bearing streams, including fish removal and salvage. Provide onsite monitoring services as required to ensure compliance to the CEMP’s. Liaise with other agencies, and complete all required permitting (DFO-Request for Reviews, Amphibian collection permits, etc.) Nest searches for raptors and avian SAR species with subsequent site reporting and recommendations. All proposed recommendations must be consistent with the requirements of all Federal and Provincial statutes that apply to the circumstances. See Schedule A - Services for more details
