AI Contract Overview
The Office of Naval Intelligence intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc. for the procurement of proprietary Cross-Domain Solution hardware and perpetual software licensing. This acquisition, conducted under simplified acquisition procedures for commercial products, includes one year of hardware and software maintenance and support. The required system is designed to aggregate critical audit and security log data from isolated security domains into a centralized Enterprise domain using proprietary Datagate Datapump and DPA applications to enforce strict unidirectional data flow controls. The government is pursuing this non-competitive action because BAE Systems is the original equipment manufacturer and sole proprietor of the necessary proprietary licenses and associated cross-domain security support. Although the intent is to award a sole-source contract, the solicitation remains open to all responsible sources that may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration. The procurement is identified under solicitation number PR13317, with a response deadline of August 31, 2026.
