1. The objective of this five year effort is to provide the Space Based Sensing Technology Branch (AFRL/RVSS) of the Space Vehicle Directorate (RV), experimental and analytical investigations, design engineering, assembly, integration, test, cryogenic and thermal and management systems (i.e. passive heat pipes/radiators) related to the Spacecraft Component Thermal Research Group (SCTRG). The effort will execute four aspects of Research and Development (R&D): Basic Research, Applied Research, Advanced Technology Development, and Demonstration and Validation with the majority consisting of Applied Research and Advanced Technology Development for cryocoolers and thermal management. 2. This is a Sole Source 8(a) Set-aside, cost plus fixed fee effort with 4 options.
