Engineering Design Service For Sewer Rehabilitation

The City of Alameda Public Works Department is seeking proposals for civil engineering design services for the rehabilitation of approximately 2.3 miles of sanitary sewer main, associated manholes, and lower sewer laterals located within existing roadways and easements. The project involves investigative and design work, including evaluating existing CCTV inspection and GIS data, conducting utility investigation, geotechnical analysis, survey, and design for all sanitary sewer mains. The consultant will determine the exact method of repair, rehabilitation, or replacement and whether manholes require replacement or rehabilitation. Final deliverables include "bid ready" construction drawings, necessary amendments to existing sewer replacement specifications, and a detailed construction cost estimate. The scope also includes a review of existing technical specifications and preparation of any required revisions or addendums.
