The City requires an engineering consultant to assess the existing roof and supporting structure at the Water Treatment Plant, 655 River Street West, and design a lifting extension for the Actiflo area. The two goals are to: 1. Confirm whether the structure can safely support a 4,000 lb lifting load and identify any strengthening needed. Analyze the different trusses and provide a maximum lifting weight at various points on the trusses. 2. Design an extension arm or beam to lift and remove mixers and other critical equipment to an accessible maintenance area.
