The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny, New Jersey 07806-5000, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager Combat Ammunition Systems (OPM-CAS), awarded Contract W15QKN-23-D-0036 to Raytheon Company, 1151 E. Hermans Road, Tucson, Arizona 85756-9367. Contract W15QKN-23-D-0036 is to procure Engineering Services for the Excalibur program. The value of this ID/IQ contract is $49,038,625.00. The Excalibur Program is for a Precision-Guided, Extended-Range family of 155mm projectiles to deliver precise, lethal, cost-effective support and to fire at ranges of up to 40 km from 39CAL weapon systems and 70+ km from 58CAL weapon systems. The 155mm Excalibur projectile enables the maneuver commander to precisely defeat critical targets while minimizing collateral damage and unexploded ordnance. The Excalibur program is currently in the production phase and supports the requirements of the US Army, USMC, US Navy, Swedish Army, and other Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Cases.
