Pursuant to section 46 of the Nunavut Act, the Auditor General is required to annually audit accounts and financial transactions of the Government of Nunavut. As part of this duty, the Office of the Auditor General of Canada (the OAG) produces a variety of documents, including the annual Nunavut report, that need to be translated from English into Inuktitut, in either the North or South Baffin dialect. Translated documents will also need to be edited and updated.
The Office of the Auditor General of Canada (OAG requires a Contractor to provide timely, consistent and reliable Inuktitut translation and editing services for Nunavut reports, opening statements and communication products that will be presented by the OAG to the government of Nunavut. The OAG may also require translation or editing of other types of documents varying in length and topics throughout the year.
This requirement is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract.
