The United States Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) Integrated Clinical Systems Program Management Office had a requirement to procure and refresh the existing Enterprise Clinical Imaging Archive (ECIA) system. This procurement incorporated the existing ECIA footprint and expanded the footprint across all Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs). Due to the operating environment, in order to perform the effort the resultant contractor must have an approve system compliant with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and an approved Government interface from the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) for ECIA. Dell is the only contractor credentialed to operate in a DoD environment with approval from CHCS, and RMF approval for immediate deployment. Therefore, the ECIA procurement to refresh existing hardware and software was solicited directly from Dell Federal Systems, L.P.
