Environmental Assessment No. EA-1417 and Administrative Use Permit No. AUP 26-02

The City of El Segundo has issued Administrative Use Permit AUP 26-02 and Environmental Assessment EA-1417 to authorize the on-site sale of beer, wine, and distilled spirits via a Type 47 ABC License. This permit is granted for Vela, a new restaurant located within a 8,880-square-foot space on the first floor of the Pacific Corporate Towers at 222 North Pacific Coast Highway, Suite 100. While the overall facility encompasses a coffee shop called Fat Cat and a market called Mercada, the sale of alcoholic beverages is strictly limited to the restaurant operations, which occupy a 4,758-square-foot dining area. The project is managed by the City of El Segundo with coordination between Associate Planner Jazmin Farias and applicant representative Taylor Conterno.
