This contract, solicitation GS-09P-09-NQM-0009, involves conducting environmental audits for several General Services Administration buildings across Region 9, including sites in San Francisco, Fresno, and Menlo Park. The scope of work focuses on auditing building services, mechanical spaces, and storage areas rather than individual tenant spaces. Key requirements include verifying hazardous material training for operations and maintenance staff and ensuring all work adheres to the most current industry standards. Contractors must obtain security clearances and provide cost estimates on a per-building basis, with the Menlo Park complex grouped as a single estimate. The GSA prioritizes field experience over specific certifications for personnel. While the contractor will have access to hazardous material business plans and previous reports after the award, they are not responsible for auditing tenant-specific operations, such as those in Menlo Park laboratories. Proposals must sufficiently detail the company's experience and address all conditions listed in the scope of work. The project covers a diverse range of facilities with construction dates spanning from 1905 to 2007.
