Solicitation F4FANG6133A001 was issued by the Department of Defense for the Experimental Operations Unit at Creech AFB in Nevada. The project was designated as a Total Small Business Set Aside under NAICS code 332312 and was intended as a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The scope of work required the design, purchase, and installation of four new metal-roofed shade structures for CCA aircraft on the south ramp, the relocation of four existing structures, and the demolition of one existing sunshade. Technical specifications required the new structures to be 80 feet long, 115 feet wide, and 28 feet high, featuring LED lighting with photovoltaic array battery backups for obstruction lights and concrete footings. The contractor was responsible for a full design cycle, including stamped calculations and FAA submissions, with a total performance period of 210 days after award. The government intended to award the contract based on the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer. However, the solicitation was officially cancelled via amendment on August 10, 2026. The government determined that the requirement was no longer needed because the requiring activity identified existing government space that could be utilized instead. Consequently, no award will be made under this solicitation, and all associated terms and conditions are now inapplicable.
