EPPC seeks Art Therapy

The Health and Human Services Commission of Texas, through the El Paso Psychiatric Center, is seeking a Licensed Art Therapist to provide journey-level therapeutic art rehabilitation services under an Invitation for Bids numbered HHS0017498. The contract, set to begin on September 1, 2026, and expire on August 31, 2029, requires the contractor to develop, facilitate, and document therapeutic art activities for clients, while furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for service delivery. Work must be performed in compliance with federal and state regulations, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Law. The contractor must maintain umbrella liability insurance of at least $1,000,000, comply with E-Verify requirements for employee eligibility, and ensure all staff are trained and experienced in art therapy. All services are subject to monitoring by an HHS Agency Contract Manager, and the contractor must correct any performance deficiencies within 48 business hours, submit written corrective action plans for significant breaches, and comply with audit and inspection requests at their own expense.
