Equipment Maintenance Service Contract

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation/Notice of Intent for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is NIAID NOI 12026 and is being issued as a Notice of Intent on a sole source basis. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-54, dated December 2, 2011. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a small business set aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811219, which has a business size standard of $6.5 million dollars. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to procure, on a sole source basis from Cytek Flow Cytometry Products, a one year maintenance service contract agreement; the period of performance is one year from award. Evaluation criteria will be based on "Price and Technical Expertise." This is a firm fixed price contract and the FOB term is "Destination" and Net 30. Cytek is the only known vendor or manufacturer that is authorized and able to provide certified technical expertise, parts and accessories for the following equipment: Item/Description/Quantity. (1) Service Contract for the FACSCalibur; Part No. 87-FCBXP-12 87-OPLSR-08. One (2) Service Contract, FACSCAN; Part No. 87-FCBXP-12 87-OPLSR-08. One (3) Service Contract Facscanto with Loader; Part No. 87-FCTO-12 87-OPFL-01 and one Service Contract Facscanto; Part No. 87-FCTO-12.
