This funding will be used to perform and enhance the FDA Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) Development, Modernization, and Enhancement (DME) activities for CDER's electronic certificate and tracking system (CDEReCATS). CDEReCATS was developed to enable external electronic submission of Certificates of Pharmaceutical Product (CPP) applications and allow for the integration with FDA databases to internally review the applications. This funding will allow CDER to continue to develop CDEReCATS to improve office productivity, enhance the quality of certificate request information and to help to expedite the issuance of CPPs, including electronic CPPs.
