The County of Riverside Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office (RSO), is seeking competitive bids for Ericsson CradlePoint and Panorama Antennas as described in Exhibit "A" product specifications on page 7 of this Request for Quote (RFQ) to support the Special Investigations Bureau of RSO .We may award a contract without further negotiation; therefore, bidders are encouraged to submit their best and lowest pricing from the outset. The law enforcement professionals of the Riverside County Sheriff's Office, with a staff of over 4,000 dedicated men and women, cover this expanse of southern California and serve its communities' citizens with integrity, professionalism, leadership, and loyalty. The Sheriff's Office is the fourth largest in California, covering over 7,300 square miles. The Special Investigations Bureau (SIB) houses the Riverside County Sheriff's Office's numerous major crime task forces and other specialized investigative units. SIB has numerous personnel assigned to task forces with the High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, the California Department of Justice, San Bernardino County Sheriff's, Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigations, United States Marshals Service, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and Riverside County District Attorney's Office.
