In 2021 EDC committed to reaching Net Zero by 2050. One year later, in 2022 EDC set new science-based climate targets. The 2030 targets are specific to airlines and upstream oil and gas and are aligned with the Paris Agreement Capital Transition Assessment for Banks (PACTA) methodology. They define the transition required in each sector by 2030 to achieve net zero by 2050.
