European Agency Fuel Cards 2027 - 2031

The Ministry of Defence is undertaking market engagement to inform the potential procurement of European Agency Fuel Card services. The requirement may include access to roadside fuels, vehicle additives and electric vehicle charging across Europe, supported by appropriate card management services, billing, reporting and control arrangements.
A Request for Information (RFI) is an early market engagement tool used by a buyer to gather information from potential suppliers before launching a formal procurement exercise. It allows an organisation to:
1. Understand market capabilities and available solutions. 2. Test assumptions about requirements. 3. Identify potential risks, constraints, or innovations. 4. Inform commercial strategy and procurement planning. 5. Assess whether a requirement is viable before tendering.
Importantly, an RFI is not a competition, not a pre-qualification exercise, and does not commit either party to a future contract. Information provided by suppliers is used solely to help shape future procurement activity and improve decision-making.
