The USDA NRCS in New York is preparing to issue a solicitation for work authorized under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program due to recent heavy rain with resultant flooding conditions. The work consists of site dewatering, the installation of approximately 200 linear feet of slope rock riprap, a rock lined outlet channel, two (2) rock grade control sills and seeding and plantings to stabilize the stream bed and banks along Eighteenmile Creek in the Town of Concord, Erie County, New York. Alternative payment protection in the amount of 50% of contract amount in the form of a payment bond or an irrevocable letter of credit will be required within 5 calendar days of award of contract. The location of the work sites will be within the flooded areas and as described in the solicitations. All necessary permits and land rights have been acquired. Price Range is between $25,000 - $100,000 Maximum performance time will be 10 calendar days A firm-fixed price award is anticipated under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
