Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Code 410A Procurement intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price, sole source purchase order to Hyspan Precision Products, Inc., to provide specific exhaust expansion joint replacement parts in support of the Main Propulsion Diesel Engine (MPDE), aboard a LPD class ship. The requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332312, and the business size standard is 500 (employee size). Hyspan Precision Products, Inc., is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the MMR2 Combustion Air & Exhaust System and the required parts therein. Specifically, Hyspan Precision Products is the only authorized source that can supply the required parts (Exhaust Expansion Joint (P.O. NO. MLP00106) LP-M-23318, Hyspan Part No. 55795 and associated parts) for this procurement. This notice is neither a request nor a solicitation of offers; however, all information received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations.
