The USCG Command and Control Engineering Center is seeking a three year extended warranty for 290 Hattland Display Monitors, model JH19T14MMD, which were previously installed in the Electronic Charting System of the USCG Fleet. Because the standard one year warranty is expiring and the warranty would be voided if not purchased through an authorized dealer, the government is pursuing a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1. The intended contractor for this effort is CHI Systems, Inc., the original source and authorized service provider. This procurement is designated as a Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 334419. Interested parties were required to submit firm fixed price proposals including a full cost breakdown and payment terms by August 20, 2009. The government intends to award the contract to the responsible bidder offering the best value, with an approximate award date of August 27, 2009.
