Full Description

Public Services Procurement Canada (PSPC) is requesting industry feedback on a project located at the Esquimalt Graving Dock (EGD). The project has two main components: seismic reinforcement of the existing dry dock basin, and refurbishment of certain walls within the drydock section. PSPC is complementing the delivery of this project through a Design Build model, noting the potential requirement for additional geotechnical investigations to be completed by the successful proponent in order to successfully deliver the project and meet PSPC’s performance requirements. Feedback from this Request for Information (RFI) will help inform the Design-Build structure, risk allocation, and incentives for seismic design innovation.
