SOLICITATION NOW AVAILABLE. DESCRIPTION (as previously posted): Request for Quotations for asbestos abatement in the Hoh Apartment Building which is a 4-unit, 2,375 square foot single story structure. The work includes but is not limited to the removal and disposal of approximately 1,844 square feet of grey (dull grey with black and white stripes) 9-inch by 9-inch floor tile throughout the building residence excepting the laundry room, and removal and disposal of approximately 7,239 square feet (approx. 5,235 SF wall plus approx. 2,004 of ceiling) of gypsum wallboard ceiling and walls throughout the building. NPS will remove all fixed and moveable furnishings and fixtures prior to abatement. PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS, EMAIL REQUESTS, OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. To receive the solicitation package (standard form and all associated attachments), click the link below for the solicitation and any amendment(s) where you'll be redirected to FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net. Accessing the solicitation form and attachments does not require registration in FedConnect. Once at the FedConnect home page, click on "Search Public Opportunities Only." Next screen, select "Reference Number" from drop-down menu and type in solicitation number as P15PS01696, and click "search." Next screen will show the solicitation title as "OLYM Asbestos Abatement in Hoh Apartment Building." Click the title to open the overview page, where on the right-side are all of the attachments including the Standard Form 1442. SITE VISIT. Instead of an on-site visit, a teleconference call is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11am Pacific Time (PT) for all interested parties. Questions/Answers will be shared on the call which will be noted. The conference call-in number is +1 (555) 000-0000. The passcode is 627112. The call will begin at exactly the scheduled time and will last as long as necessary for all parties attending. For the NPS, attending will be the Contracting Officer (Phaedra Fuller) and COR (Jeff Doryland). The time allotted is one hour, however, more time is possible if needed (the call won¿t abruptly end at one hour's time). Within three business days of the teleconference call this solicitation will be amended to include the teleconference call notes/Q&A for all parties to access that will be posted as an attachment to the solicitation in FedConnect (will be Attachment no. 11). The reason for scheduling a teleconference call vs. making a site visit at this time is because the Hoh Apartment Building is currently occupied as park housing and much of the building is not accessible for contractors. The Government anticipated that given the attached drawings and statement of work that Offerors would have sufficient information to prepare quotes without a physical site visit. However, based on the feedback received during the teleconference call, should an actual site visit need to occur, it will be scheduled prior to the response date via an amendment to the solicitation and the details of date, time, and location of where to meet will be provided in the amendment, and the response date may be extended. If a site visit is to occur the anticipated date would be August 4th or 5th. This teleconference call information is also provided in solicitation Attachment no. 2 (Terms and Conditions) in Section L.3. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE for this project is 30 calendar days, from September 14, 2015 to October 14, 2015. The building will be available for contractor access on October 7, 2015. Work hours will not be restricted. The contractor shall be mobilized on-site and ready to begin work on October 7, 2015 and have all work completed, ready for final inspection no later than October 14, 2015. Refer to Section F.2 of solicitation Attachment no. 2. CORRECTION TO PREVIOUSLY POSTED NAICS FOR THIS PROJECT. The Pre-Solicitation Notice for this project listed the wrong NAICS code. The correct code for this project is 562910 with an associated small business size standard of $20.5 million. This acquisition is a total (100%) small business set-aside. It is the responsibility of the offerors to monitor the FBO and FedConnect websites to download all amendments and attachments which may also be issued against the solicitation prior to the solicitation's closing date. All questions must be submitted in writing by fax or email (no phone or fax questions). Submit questions to Phaedra Fuller, Contracting Officer at email address contact@example.gov. Interested parties are urged to check for amendments. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
