The GE Captains of Industry contract is a performance based logistics (PBL) effort for holistic support of the F101, F110-100, F110-129, and F118 engine platforms, referred to as the "F Series Engines." The holistic support provides support for the entirety of the F Series Engines Bill of Materials (BoM) which consists of approximately 7,500 consumable items. The BoM is divided by sourcing strategy and includes approximately 2,830 items as GE sourced and 4,655 as DLA sourced where GE will provide a back-up role for DLA sourced material to ensure customer support. This contract will support USAF depot engine repair and overhaul at the Oklahoma City - Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC) as well as providing support to engine customers based and/or deployed worldwide and FMS requirements. This is a sole source acquisition, Requirements-type, FFP contract with a five-year base period and single, three-year option period. Estimated 5-year base period value is $329.2M.
