The United States Air Force (USAF) through Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Tinker AFB, OK 73145 is soliciting to procure services of the repair of the F108 COMPRESSOR INLET TEMPERATURE (CIT) SENSORS, NSN: 2915-01-139-6618PN. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all materials to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the F108 Compressor Inlet Temperature (CIT) Sensors. The work encompasses the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, repair, reassembly, testing, and finishing actions rquired to return the item to a serviceable condition in accordance with the solicitation requirements and all attachments. A Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Requirements type contract with a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one-year options is contemplated. In accordance with RFO 22.1003-6(b), this repair shall be deemed to be a service and as such, will be subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards statute.

An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminsh the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
