The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) requires a contractor to transport, deconstruct, and dispose of one surplus vessel, the CCGS Bartlett. The CCGS Bartlett is a 57.7 meter Medium Endurance Multi-Tasked Vessel that was built in 1969 in Sorel, Quebec by Marine Industries Limited. The CCGS Bartlett is currently located at the Institute of Ocean Sciences in Sidney, British Columbia. The objective is to transport, deconstruct, and dispose of all material associated with the CCGS Bartlett, in an efficient and environmentally responsible manner that is conforming to Canadian Laws and the terms of the contract. The work will take place at the Esquimalt Graving Dock. Canada will hold an Offeror’s conference at the CCGS Bartlett at the Institute of Ocean Sciences at 9860 West Saanich Road. Canada recommends that the Offeror attend the site visits. The site visits will be held at 825 Admirals Road, Victoria and 9860 West Saanich Road, Sidney.
