Façade Improvement Program Contractor Request For Quotes

The City of Orinda seeks qualified contractors to help local businesses complete projects through its Façade Improvement Program. This program supports downtown improvements by offering eligible businesses up to $30,000 for façade enhancements. The City will establish an eligible contractors list based on qualifications and rates. Businesses using a listed contractor can submit one project quote instead of two. Work covered includes painting, surface preparation, signage, awnings, exterior lighting, storefront doors and windows, trim, architectural features, permanent planters, landscaping, permanent outdoor dining features, and related accessibility improvements. Contractors must be able to provide all listed work types, either directly or through licensed subcontractors, and comply with prevailing wage and public works requirements. Businesses contract and pay contractors directly, with the City reimbursing the business upon approved work completion.
