Full Description

The Contractor will support USAID's Facilitating Public Investment (FPI) project by providing technical assistance, training, and other services to economic agencies of the Government of the Philippines (GPH). The Contractor will work towards increasing public investment in social and physical infrastructure through improvements in fiscal space and public financial management achieved through a more effective tax regime and strengthened public expenditure oversight. The contract will be the primary implementing mechanism for USAID's "Facilitating Public Investments" or "FPI". This Project has been jointly agreed with the GPH through the "Partnership for Growth" (PFG), an enhanced engagement of the GPH and the United States Government (USG) that focuses on addressing the binding constraints to economic growth in the Philippines.
