Christopher Newport University is seeking the prequalification of subcontractors for the Plant/Warehouse Construction Project 242-17888 located in Newport News, Virginia. This solicitation, RFPQ-127706, focuses on five specific disciplines: mechanical services involving geothermal loops and water source heat pumps; electrical services including a 500kW generator and a 450KW DC photovoltaic array; roofing for a 61,000 SF SBS modified bitumen system; concrete work involving structural site cast or tilt-up bearing walls; and fire suppression systems including NFPA compliant quick response and ESFR systems.
