The government will notify the contractor of FAT approval or disapproval within 210 calendar days of receipt. The procurement is subject to strict technical and quality standards, requiring manufacturer inspection systems to comply with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001. It incorporates DLA Master List technical requirements, including specific packaging standards under RP001 and marking requirements per MIL-STD-129. Due to the nature of the technical data, the contract is subject to ITAR and EAR export controls, requiring approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification for access.
