Full Description

The unit is rated for 9,500 CFM which can handle the required air flow for all vents to be operated at the same time. Air-to-cloth ratio is 2.92 to 1 which is with in our guidelines for woodworking applications. The main trunk line will be 20" in diameter. The 20" size is designed to handle all machines operating at once with the correct FPM airflow in the trunk to convey the wood material that is collected. 9,500 CFM at 10" SP. Farr recommends explosion vents for all unit working with explosive materials but does not require sprinkler heads. The filters do not need to be grounded. The collector will be grounded. Farr usually dose not use grounded filter in woodworking applications. The blower and motor are outside the airstream and collector and spark resistant construction and an explosion proof motor is not required. The motor is a 25 HP 3/60/230-460v TEFC motor. The collector will requite three phase for the fan motor and single phase for the control panel. 100 amp service will be more the enough capacity. The first set of drums are supplied with the collector and are designed to be emptied and reused. Clearance under the unit is 54" The unit has a manual slide gate that is the be open with the unit is being operated. The slide gate is designed to be closed only when you are emptying a drum. The flex hoses, clamps, drums, and drum covers are supplied with the collector. The existing 15" trunk line will be replaced with a 20" trunk line that changes in size for each drop to a machine. The 20" main line can handle all machines operating at the same time. The maximum amount of pickup points we would be using at one given time are 10.
