Fassler Tank Replacement

The North Coast County Water District plans to replace its aging 0.5-million-gallon welded steel Fassler Tank with a new 1.2-million-gallon prestressed concrete water storage tank at the same location in Pacifica, California. This infrastructure upgrade is designed to enhance system reliability, expand emergency and fire water storage capacity in the district’s southern service area, and address the limitations of the current facility. The project encompasses the construction of the new tank and its foundation, along with associated underground piping, stormwater drainage and biotreatment systems, groundwater monitoring wells, fencing, and landscaping. Additional improvements include an updated access driveway, safety enhancements to the adjacent Ahni Trail, and modifications to ensure compliance with modern operational and environmental standards. The project is being managed by the North Coast County Water District, with primary contact information provided by General Manager Adrianne Carr and Project Director Meryka Dirks. Scheduled for announcement in July 2026, the initiative aligns with long-term water infrastructure resilience goals and reflects a commitment to sustainable water management.
