The FBI issued Request for Information (RFI) 15F06726PNBA01 on April 30, 2026, seeking input from firearm manufacturers to inform a potential future solicitation for duty and training pistols. Training pistols must be permanently color-coded red for inert use and blue for man-marking, and magazine components must have distinct colors for identification.
