This amendment pertains to solicitation HSTS05-11-Q-OOP045 for Federal Security Director Academy Conference Center Services, issued by the Department of Homeland Security. The primary purpose of the update is to correct the original solicitation by incorporating omitted contract clauses from FAR 52.212-5(c), specifically those regarding the Service Contract Act of 1965 and the Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires. It also adds the full text of FAR 52.222-49, which addresses situations where the place of performance is unknown. The contract specifies a monetary wage of 28.04 dollars and fringe benefits of 5.25 dollars for the Training Specialist employee class. While the place of performance is listed in Arlington, Virginia, the added clauses ensure that wage determinations are properly managed and incorporated retroactively if necessary, without adjusting the contract price. The procurement is managed by the Contracting and Procurement office located in Springfield, Virginia.
