Festo Training Equipment

The SC Technical College System is soliciting bids for the procurement of new, entry-level mechanical maintenance training equipment for the Scout Motors Training Center in Blythewood, South Carolina. The required equipment must be exclusively Festo brand, as any non-Festo items will result in a non-responsive bid. The scope of work includes the delivery of Mechanical Drives Learning Systems (Levels 1 and 2), associated Campus Licenses, workstation packages, and support kits such as fault keys and mobile access kits. This equipment is designed to provide hands-on training in bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, shafts, gears, and mechanical power transmission, as well as basic assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting. Each acquired item must include an operational manual. The contract will be awarded to a single offeror who is the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Bids must be submitted through the South Carolina procurement portal by October 29, 2026, with an award date scheduled for November 2, 2026. All items must be delivered F.O.B. Destination within 30 days of the purchase order receipt. Payment will be processed via electronic funds transfer after the submission of proper invoices. Offerors are required to provide mandatory vendor registration, a summary of insurance policies, and several certifications, including an Ethics Certificate and a Certificate of Independent Price Determination.
