Fiber Photometry Workstation (2 sites/3 LEDs) Required equipment specifications as follows: Base processor for fiber photometry system for recording neural activity an LED pod that emits light at a wavelength of 415nm, used as an isosbestic control for fiber photometry an LED pod that emits light at a wavelength of 465nm, used to excite biosensors for fiber photometry an LED pod that emits light at a wavelength of 465nm, used to excite biosensors for fiber photometry a photosensor pod that receives the response signals emitted from the biosensors during recordings an optical manifold that filters the light signals going between the system and the subject a power meter used to measure the light intensity output of the system a kit of cables used to connect the optical manifold to the rest of the system (the Lux LED pods and photosensors) a computer workstation to connect to the RZ10X processor and complete the system a computer monitor a device that allows you to integrate behavioral inputs/outputs with the system. Connects to the RZ10X processor via fiber optic cable and then gets filled with different modules based on the behavioral experiment a digital signal processing card with a fiber optic connection. The RZ10X needs two DSP cards with fiber optic ports to connect to the two iCon4 devices.
