Bastion Supply & Logistics (PURECJ Holding LLC), an SDVOSB small business, is quoting as prime on U.S. Marine Corps solicitation M0026426Q0134, a total small business set-aside. We seek one subcontractor for the field disassembly line item. WORK: field mechanical disassembly (undercarriage R&R) of one WWII M4A3 Sherman tank hull on the range at MCAGCC Twentynine Palms, San Bernardino County, CA. Three to five working days. Recover two track chains with no cutting (left run complete approx 5,000 lb, right run incomplete approx 2,000 lb), coiled and palletized; unbolt four bogie truck assemblies at approx 900 lb each; remove and palletize twelve road wheels with arms, two drive sprockets, one idler, four return rollers, a bulldozer mounting arm and a belly plate; one oxy-acetylene torch cut on a 10 lb engine deck door stop. Contractor pallets and steel-bands all components. PREREQUISITES: the person making the torch cut must hold oxy-acetylene certification with five years documented experience, in writing. All personnel need base access (DBIDS, antiterrorism awareness) and must complete on-site range safety, desert survival and desert tortoise briefings. The Government provides one escort and the two site locations must be worked sequentially. No grading, water or material staging is provided; temporary crane mats and dunnage are permitted and must be removed. Contractor is generator of record for lead-bearing waste and furnishes portable sanitation. TERMS: subject to the Service Contract Act; DOL Wage Determination 2015-5629 (San Bernardino County, CA) applies and certified payroll is required. Bastion furnishes a 35,000 lb forklift and a skid steer. Quotes must be firm not-to-exceed, not time and materials. Range availability is currently confirmed 31 October to 7 December 2026. Any resulting subcontract is contingent on award of the prime contract. Quotes to the Government are due 3 September 2026.
