Fifth Street Elevated Water Tank Project

The City of Davis is seeking qualified design-builders for the Fifth Street Elevated Water Tank Project (CIP # ET 8290) in Davis, California, using a progressive design-build (PDB) delivery method. The project has an established budget of 18.5 million dollars and is divided into two stages: Stage 1 involves preconstruction services to reach a 60 to 70 percent design level and develop a guaranteed maximum price or lump sum proposal, while Stage 2 covers final design, construction, and post-construction tasks. The physical scope of work includes the construction of an elevated water tank, support facilities such as a control room and offices, and the upsizing of approximately 5,800 linear feet of distribution pipeline to 16-inch diameter pipes.
