Description(s): This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitations and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This procurement is for 2 Ea. Mettler Toledo XP6U Filter Comparator (Balance), Stock Number: 6670L000018. The XP6U Filter Comparator (balance) will be used by the OEHTA laboratory to analysis trace level particulate matter at levels. Analysis will be performed using SKC IOM cassette samplers constructed of both plastic (1.1g) and metal (4.8g) casings, requiring a range of up to 6g for the total mass with filter levels from 0.1'g (0.0000001g) to 6.1g. This unique analysis instrument and weight range will be required for the low level analysis of IOM Samplers and filters to separate particulate inhalable and respirable materials.
