Fire alarm maintenance service This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) at the Federal Training Centre 6099 institution and at the Centre de la petite enfance des Câlins in Laval. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service of Canada shall establish and maintain a fire safety program at all of its operational sites and services including, at a minimum, a complete annual inspection of the fire alarm system in accordance with standard CAN/UCL 536-04, the repair to deficiencies following inspection and the urgent repair twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Objectives: Maintain the proper functioning of the fire alarm system to ensure the safety of staff, offenders and visitors by reducing the incidence of fire and the resulting in loss of life or property, or both, while maintaining adequate operational security. Deliverables: Perform preventive and curative maintenance of targeted equipment according to applicable standards. Document maintenance activities so that CSC has appropriate technical knowledge of the condition of said equipment.
