Fire Extinguisher Inspections, Repair, Replacement and Servicing

Anderson School District One is soliciting bids for a comprehensive district-wide contract for the inspection, repair, replacement, and servicing of fire extinguishers. Deliverables include itemized billing for each facility and the use of durable plastic tags for recording service dates. The contract is structured for an initial one-year term starting in October 2026, with options to renew for four additional one-year terms, totaling a maximum of five years. This agreement features an automatic annual renewal process, requiring 120 days' notice for withdrawal. Award decisions will be based on unit pricing and the contractor's demonstrated responsibility. Qualified vendors must submit sealed offers by October 13, 2026, including a signed cover page, a new vendor application if applicable, and a detailed insurance summary. Compliance with the Drug-free Workplace Act and non-discrimination provisions of the Minority/Woman Business Enterprise Program is mandatory.
